Graduates of this program are eligible for transfer credits as follows:
- students transferring into the BSc (PD) receive 60 block transfer credits.
- Students transferring into the BSc (PD) with Majors receive 30 block transfer credits and may receive additional transfer credits on a course by course basis provided that courses completed in the diploma fulfill the requirements of AU's BSc (PD) programs.
AU's Bachelor of Science degree programs are 120 credits in total, transfer students will typically complete a minimum of 60 transfer credits at AU under this pathway.
The above articulation is based on the Fanshawe College diploma curriculum as of 2020. Students who have completed the above mentioned program before or after the credential year noted may have their credit adjusted if the program completed differs from the program presented for articulation. To qualify for a transfer credit award based on the Articulation above, a Student will:
1. Apply for admission to Athabasca University;
2. Pay to Athabasca University the General Admission Fee and Evaluation Fee as provided in the Calendar; and
3. Arrange for relevant educational providers to send official transcripts directly to the Athabasca University Office of the Registrar.
Athabasca University will notify the Student of the official transfer credit award.
