Graduates of the Fanshawe College General Arts and Science two-year diploma may be eligible for 60 block transfer credits towards the Bachelor of Professional Arts (BPA) program and Majors. This is a 120-credit online program (4 years) designed for students who have completed an approved two-year diploma or equivalent from an accredited college. There are four majors offered in the BPA degree: Communication Studies; Criminal Justice; Human Services; and Governance, Law, and Management. Students can apply for the Major of their choice.
The above articulation is based on the Fanshawe College diploma curriculum as of 2024. Students who have completed the above mentioned program before or after the credential year noted may have their credit adjusted if the program completed differs from the program presented for articulation. To qualify for a transfer credit award based on the Articulation above, a Student will:
1. Apply for admission to Athabasca University;
2. Pay to Athabasca University the General Admission Fee and Evaluation Fee as provided in the Calendar; and
3. Arrange for relevant educational providers to send official transcripts directly to the Athabasca University Office of the Registrar.
Athabasca University will notify the Student of the official transfer credit award.
