Graduates from an Ontario college diploma or advanced diploma in one of the programs listed above with a minimum mid-70s average may be eligible for advanced entry into the 40-course BHSc (Hons) in Kinesiology degree. Successful applicants will receive credit as follows: Massage Theraphy graduates receive 20 courses (approx 50% of the program). Fitness & Health Promotion graduates receive 11 courses (aqpprox 25% of the program). Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) and Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) graduates receive 10 credits (approx. 25% of the program). ***Note: It is recommended for students to have completed Biology (SBI4U) or a post-secondary equivalent. Admission is competitive. Regardless of educational background, all applicants to undergraduate programs must have specific prerequisite subject knowledge for their intended program of study. The specific average or standing required for admission will vary from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria, including school marks, distribution of subjects taken and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program.
